| The Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. is a continuation of the Great Revival that began at Jerusalem on the Day Of Pentecost, A.D. 33 (Acts 2:1-42) and is founded upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.” Ephesians 2:19-20 The Day of Pentecost was a fulfillment of - Prophecy according to Joel 2:28; three thousand souls were added to the church (The doors have never been shut). The Apostolic Church of Jesus Inc is a church that has been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is a church in which the word of God is preached, ordinances are administered and the doctrine of the Oneness of God is boldly proclaimed. We believe that there is one Great Eternal God who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. He is known as, “God Almighty, Jehovah, Alpha and Omega, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Son and Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Jesus the Christ.” There is One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism… (Ephesians 4: 4-6). The Plan for salvation is to repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of Sins and Ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost or the New Birth (Acts 2:38; St. John 3:3-5). These manifestations are emphasized as being essential to the salvation of mankind. Followers of The Apostolic Church of Jesus Inc. are commonly called “Apostolics,” “Jesus only believers,” or “Oneness-Pentecostals” because the importance we ascribe to the events which occurred on the Day of Pentecost, the 50th day after the Passover, and/or the resurrection Sunday. It is the belief of the Apostolic Church of Jesus that it is necessary for all believers in Christ Jesus to believe that these events took place and to accept them as being an integral part of the foundational standard of our faith. We will heed the exhortation recorded in I Thessalonians 5 vs. 2-14; “and we beseech you brethren to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you and esteem them very highly in love for the works sake.” We will have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness outline in Ephesians 5 vs. 11, but will keep ourselves “unspotted from the world (James 1 vs. 27).” We will accomplish all of these things through the power and help of God. Pastoral Objectives for All members: Levels of Maturity members should grow by (whereas we know that all things are done in God’s timing) Membership Stage Babes (Know); much love and support Maturity Stage Grow; increase The Ministry Stage Serve and fellowship The Multiplication Stage You emulate The Baptism in Jesus Name Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them I the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: … Note the singularity of the word name – which signifies the father’s name, the son’s name, and the Holy Ghost’s name. In St. John 5:43 Jesus says, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: … Which signifies the Father’s name is Jesus because Jesus is speaking here (it’s in red). In St. John 14:26 Jesus is speaking, he says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things… This proves that the Holy Ghost is sent in the name of Jesus.
